Lady Beastly, Color Palette Options

After (somewhat) setting on a look for her, I explored some different colors of clothing and fur. Some input I got from fellow art friends did lead to some adjustments.

I felt a tiger skin might've been too on the nose...

A melanistic leopard fur would've been fun, but difficult to pull off during production.

The red panda fur would've been fun too, but one of my associates felt it too, "Azula" like.

Shaking things up with a snowy owl pattern...at this point I realized I needed to keep things simple. Can you imagine if I or anyone else had to draw those bars over and over again?

Turned to sifaka lemurs for this one. Given her body type, the fur color fits...but not quite. Something about the nose, I dunno.

Before I burned out completely, I turned to a lion tamarin for this one.

Because I really liked the snow leopard fur still, I decided to try it again in a darker shade, as well as ditch the kimono wrap. And whaddya know, this one worked out much better, so I went with it in the end.
